Junior Fours
Play was conducted at Forster Bowling Club on Sunday, 22 May 2011.
The morning saw Jesse Higgins & Ryan Agar play off in one game and Rebecca Sparrow up against Dylan Riley.
Results were a win to Ryan Agar’s team and Dylan Riley’s team also won their game.
Final in the afternoon was very entertaining with some very good bowls played.
Dylan Riley’s team proved too strong for their younger opponents.

MDBA Junior Pairs Final
Following the preliminary rounds it was down to Nathan Butler & Dylan Riley up against a younger pairing of Brendan Romeo & Jaison Redman in the Final of this event.

Whilst the side skipped by Dylan Riley got away to an early 6 to 1 lead Jaison Redman displayed grit and determination to get his side back into the game. After 21 ends of very entertaining bowls the scores were locked at 17 all.
The final result saw Jaison Redman’s team collecting 1 shot on the extra end to become the 2011 Champions winning 18 – 17.
Congratulation to both teams on a great display of sportsmanship.
