Last week, the State Junior Championships were conducted at Warilla BC, our participants being Lewis Williams (TBBC), Luke Agar (TBBC), Caleb Haynes (TLBC) and Jake Reid (PPBC) in the Singles, Pairs & Fours disciplines.
Unfortunately, our guys were unsuccessful in progressing to the Semi Finals; however, I’m sure that the experience gained will stand them in good stead for their future bowls activities.
The good news, that was announced after the completion of the Championships, was that Lewis, Luke and Jake were selected in the “Silver Tier” Squad. The Zone congratulates the guys on their selection and wishes them every success in the future.
